Harry Potters near death experience.

Harry Potter, I love, I really I do. I remember getting my first harry potter book and poking holes in the eye of dumbledore, I didn't want to read it there were things that disheartened me from popular things and to some extent I still have a gripe with fictionalizing this stuff. I mean Trelwany does exist in real life, I guarantee it. One of the things that I find good is that never the less these stories are being planted in the minds of kids, I can only image the ecstacy that would engulf them when coming to a realization that there is a real magical world out there. I made a wish once when I was watching Harry potter and the philosopher's stone after I got it on vhs, I must have been about 12. I wished that I would find the real magic in the world, I wished with all my heart and soul from the deepest emotions of longing I wished and it came true :D I am assuming that you are familiar with the story of Harry Potter. I would like to draw your attention to the conclusion of the last movie part 2 of the deathly hallows, Harry is pitted in a battle against voldemort, harry dies eventually as a sacrifice to save his friends, but oh noh this is not the end. You follow Harry to a white light, a room bathed in white light. There he communicates with his dead friend and teacher Dumbledore, there in that spiritual place of ascendence that even magical people are subjected to, he removes the part of voldemort which has attached itself to him when he was originally cursed and his parent were killed. After his task is complete in the spirit world Harry ressurects with no magical or medical intervention, almost like he was Jesus :P and goes on to win the battle of good. Hrrrmmmm a spiritual dimension of white light, I am going to have a little chuckle to myself right about now :P. A dimension of white light is a very real experience for people that die and are revived or come back to life, it's the documented cases of what is called a near death experience or NDE. I personally have had one and have my own voldemort, my experience directly relates to battle between him and I. So yes Harry does have an NDE, like Harry I also for some reason did not need to be revived but just came back to life. I did indeed go to a white light of pure love, it gave me visions of the future and this phenomenon is also documented on National Geographic with the story of Chris Robinson who passed tests laid out by psychologists to test his ability, the series is called Paranatural. It is an old story of the battle of good and evil and common in many religions, Allah had a near death experience and so did Jesus. Me personally in my story is that it directly relates to the fight against child abuse and if you have the courage to stand up to the voldemorts of the world you will be spiritually rewarded just like Harry was and I too. I guess I just want to enchant your life with the real spiritual magic of this world and clearly point out to you what side is what. It's not just a nice story :) it's reality.

The story of Jesus and near death experiences

Hmm the story of Jesus, a very interesting one. Let us not forget when Jesus was tortured and killed one of the things he was charged with was witchcraft, as how can someone restore sight to the blind if he is not with the power of God and we are God and his message contradicts ours.

I guess I will start with baptism, baptism traced back to its roots can mean "overwhelming ". I have had it explained to me that baptism was a symbol of washing/cleansing, however being familiar with Jesus' story it does not make sense, as when Jesus washed people like Mary Magdalene feet he used soap and oils. When Jesus was baptizing people he was infact drowning and then recussitating them, hence the "overwhelming", also why some of his first disciples were fishermen, which undoubtedly were the first people to perform CPR.. Now this is where it gets really interesting, there was recently a documented case on national geographical show paranatural, the story was of Anita morrjani, she had stage 4 lymphoma and died and came back to life in hospital, after which in 4 days her cancer was completely gone. An actual documented case of miraculous healing which makes Jesus story entirely plausible, especially when you realise that Jesus's whole story revolved around near death experiences.

Dancing with the wind through the leaves.

Becoming connected with nature is essential to spiritual experiences, we come from the earth, we would not exist without plants and everything else that lives on this planet. We are a product of nature, however convoluted humanity is within its self importance. It's nice to dance to music, but in it's purest form to connect with nature and the greater spirit you must synchronize with nature. The move to the sounds of the winds the through the trees and leaves, the sound of the birds, breathe with the wind. The first time I did this was when I was quite young and I had a vision of a beautiful light in a dream. Later on I had more deep and profound experiences with nature and this light. You can read more about my experience in the blog "the soul transcending time" but dancing/moving to the sounds of nature has always been a part of that path.

It's short and sweet. I hope you take my advice.

Far cry 3....NDE's and mushroom trips.

Far cry three, the story of the misfortune of some American tourists which pick the wrong islands to holiday on and are captured by pirates(the local gang).Far cry 3 so far as I have played it has had 2 psychedelic trips in it, comparing these with my own experiences they are probably the most accurate I have seen in a game so far.

Far cry fungi tripping.

The first trip is on a mission to collect some medicinal mushrooms to cure your freind of the poison plants that she ran through try to escape the pirates. You are sent on a mission into a cavern to retrieve these medicinal mushrooms by a Dr. that lives on the island. When you go into the cavern some fungi(not the ones you are looking for) release their spores and you become intoxicated. What you see when you are tripping is lots of purple colours and reality unfolding before your eyes, specifically plants growing in fast forward. I have seen this personally on dmt substances much like ayahuasca. Plants growing in fast forward and also the purples are a colour that in my own experience have been strong colours on DMT substances. They the people that made far cry have obviously done their homework and have brought you an accurate depiction of what it is like to trip on DMT substances which can be found in many plants and mushrooms.

Mysterious Hallucinogen given to you by the "queen' of the jungle.
The second trip. You are sent to meet a woman called citra, lets call her the Queen of the jungle. You are there to ask her for the strength to become a true warrior and rescue your captured friends (or what's left of them). After a confrontation and some ego inflation by Citra, she gives you a bottle filled with a mysterious liquid, which is to be assumed to be some type of psychedelic. When you take this psychedelic time starts to slow down (much like a real trip). Then you are faced with a white light which encompasses your entire vision. If you have read and my other entries on my blog you will know that the white light is the ultimate gateway to the after life and commonly reported by people that have near death experiences (NDE's). You also essentially have a premonition or see into the future in a dreamstate, which is the quintessential shamanic white light trip.

"A near-death experience (NDE) refers to personal experiences associated with impending death, encompassing multiple possible sensations including detachment from the body, feelings of levitation, total serenity, security, warmth, the experience of absolute dissolution, and the presence of a light. These phenomena are usually reported after an individual has been pronounced clinically dead or very close to death."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Near-death_experience

Now it is up for debate as to whether any psychedelic will directly help you reach this point, it is proposed by Dr. Rick Strassman that DMT (which is most likely what the substance would contain in real life or a type of DMT) is produced in your pineal gland during dreaming and dying. When you come through this white light you find yourself falling from the sky and when you reach the ground you are with all your friends which have been killed by the pirates. Hmmmm white lights and talking to the souls of you dead loved ones, seems like this is pretty damn accurate to the reports of real life NDE's, after you walk away from your friends to follow a man in a suit, you see the plants growing out of the ground in fast forward(seen myself on a dmt trip) and it also worthy to note that the leaves and branches dance, which is also a phenomenon which I have witnessed myself.

Well that's as far as I have been up in the game so far as I have had some account issues logging in. I will however update this the more I get through the game. If you read the rest of the blog and do some personal research on NDE's and entheogens(psychedelics) I am sure you will be able to make your own correlations. :)

Sleepy hollow and the story of cunning folk.

Sleepy hollow, the movie with Johnny Depp about the headless horseman. The story has good and white witches in it and persecutory torturous priests and doesn't really stray far from the real story on those subjects.

Ichabod Crane (Johnny Depp) is a forward thinking detective in london's police force. He is contracted to go investigate the decapitations of several people in a town outside New York .There are strong themes in the movie of a barbaric justice system and church.

Young Ichabod
Early in the movie Ichabod has fleeting memories of his mother (before she was tortured and murdered by a priest). She is what people would call a "witch", but in reality were called cunning folk. These people had knowledge and plants for medicine and were healers. Most of the witch trials were against people using plant medicine, specifically midwives giving willow bark(containing the precursor of aspirin)   to women giving birth to ease the pain. As this was a Bible verse the church believed women must endure the full pain of child birth, so they went around killing people giving aspirin calling them "witches". It is true that  sacrifice was practiced by some people following pagan beliefs, but then the Romans use to line a whole road with people crucified.

“To the woman He said, ‘I will greatly multiply your pain in childbirth, In pain you will bring forth children; Yet your desire will be for your husband, And he will rule over you’” (Genesis 3:16, NASB).

Ichabod's mother flying in a field of Amanita shrooms

Amanita mushrooms grow underneath pine trees/christmas trees.

"Jonathan Ott also draws parallels with flying reindeer: reindeer had been reported to consume the mushroom and prance around in an intoxicated manner afterwards"

You will find in the movie that there are good witches and bad witches. In reality as I said, these people were known as cunning folk and were plant healers, though the church labelled them witches.

I hope you enjoyed this breakdown. I hope it was enlightening. :)

The Shamanic / Druidic themes in Game of thrones.

Interesting topic if I do say so myself. The shamanic/druidic themes in games of thrones are quite heavy and pertain to winterfell and north of the wall.

The first aspect which has it's roots in real anglo lore is the humanoid tree, druid loosely means one with the trees. You will find that the old gods are in fact trees with human faces. It has reported that these types of faces would be seen on certain hallucinogenic plants such as ergot, as the druids were masters of plant medicine.
Game of thrones "old god"
Druidic greenman

The second spiritual/shamanic/druidic etc, concept is that of Brans shamanic/worg initiation. Bran has dreams of the future, these dreams start to happen after he has a near death experience. He is pushed off a tower whilst climbing. How this relates to real life in fact is that the phenomenon is not fictional at all whatsoever, people have been reporting seeing the future before, after and during near death experiences probably since the beginning of time. Certain shamanic traditions would also induce near death experiences and having a near death experience is considered a shamanic initiation. One of the most famous people that has reported to have seen the future due to a near death experience would be Dannion Brinkley, whose book saved by the light was a ny times best seller. I can also testify to this phenomenon from personal experience.

"Other “wake-up” calls may come to us involuntarily, tearing the fabric ofdaily life. Accidents, illness, loss, and misfortune can all have a spiritual dimension to them. The loss of a career, a serious illness, a near-death experience or the death of someone close may all serve as turning points for rethinking the purpose and meaning of our lives. Feelings of disconnection, disorientation and suffering often accompany the inner call to a spiritual path. "
http://www.shamanicuniverse.com/shamanic-initiation.html

"In the Welsh legend, divination was known as awenyddion or awenithion, which was a power of poetic insight. The insight or divination come from sleeping and dream, where the sleeping person would speak during a rapt ecstasy."
http://www.timelessmyths.com/celtic/druids.html

Many times I had gone into ecstatic states during my life and accurately predicted the future. Sometimes I think of the people that witnessed it, it must be buried in their consciousness, though the visions were initiated by my NDE(near death experience).

I guess I really just want to share this with people, I hope the realisation that this stuff is real will give you some joy, wonder, mystery and enchant your life. :)

Assassins Creed...Behind the fiction.

Assassins creed....A story with it roots in reality, with many appearances from historical figures and based the real story of the Templars/Abstergo.

Since the crusades western armies have been going into the middle east and plundering them, why? Because they needed capital to loan to their own people back in Europe and England to financially enslave them. Prince Phillip the IV of France persecuted the Templars for exactly this and also because they were claimed to be heretics that masqueraded as christians but really followed occult religions and hence burnt most of the Templars at the stake. Whilst the Templars were locked in the dungeons they would draw pagan symbols and other older gods, adding to the evidence and persecution.

Now you will find that in the first AC game that when locked in the animus chamber that when you use your eagle vision you can find symbols written on the wall by the subject before you. See they have used real history but they have had the sides trade places.

There is no conspiracy as to the fact that the Templars plundered and slaughtered middle eastern people, including Jews in the holy land. What is under speculation is what happened to the Templars after they were persecuted by Prince Phillip IV of France. It is speculated that they formed the Free masons. When you Investigate this yourself it will move away from speculation and become more of a hidden secret. America has a strong masonic undertone to it, and when you look at alignments of monuments in America compared to their alignment to Templar built churches in Scotland it becomes blatantly obvious.

http://grigorfedan.com/main/Modern_Day_Knights_Templar_The_Masons

Now one of the most doubted and "fictional" parts of the game is the apple(which emits a golden white light) and it's ability to enable you to speak and commune with people from the future. Now I have mentioned the story of Dannion Brinkley and my own story in this blog so if you have read it then it would make sense. But if you haven't go back and read it as it contains the information on it. But basically, people who have reported have a near death experience (NDE) have came back and had the ability to see into the future after going to "the light" as people joking say about being close to death "don't go toward the light". Dannion Brinkley whose book Saved by the light was a NY times best seller for 14 weeks, was struck by lighting was dead for 28 minutes and travelled to a light and met beings of light and saw future events when he came back could see into the future. I can testify to this same experience having had my own NDE.

A small run down of Dannion Brinkley, though you can read/watch his book/movie "Saved by the light"

Beings of Light

I implore you to investigate what I have brought up in this blog, I hope you enjoyed it. If you want a recount of my NDE it is in my blog.

Near death experience inducement.

Hrrmmm sounds pretty out there right? Well it seems that hollywood thought it would make a good story.

NDE inducement. If you haven't seen the movie "Flat liners" with Keifer Sutherland and Kevin Bacon. It is about a group of med students, led by the vision of Keifer's character which wants to induce death medically to see what is on the other side. Who knows if this has ever specifically happened in real life. It would make more than a good story. It depicts the near death experience pretty well. You should really watch it.

There is also a Dr. in the show Medium, which is on the Sci Fi channel. He induces NDE's with the help of a nurse and has the same powers as the psychic that the show is based on.

I have also heard of shamans inducing near death experiences. Native American use to dance themselves to exhaustion (sometimes days at a time) until they had visions or an NDE. It is interesting to note that they would report seeing into the future. It is documented in the book and movie "saved by the light" the true story of Dannion Brinkley, that after had is NDE he was able to see into the future. Though he was struck by lightning. His book was a new york times best seller for quite a time. I also when I had my NDE saw visions of the future in my dreams.

Scientists have successfully induced death in rats to try to explain the near death experience. I wonder if over time this will become a type of therapy. Personally I think that it would do the world a lot of good. But as you will or would have seen in flat liners, these are medical students going rogue and could lose their titles.

I also have heard of a theory by John White that baptism, the original full body submersion was a way of inducing a NDE by bringing a person the point of near drowning. Hence why his first followers were fishermen who had been doing cpr since people were falling out of boat, if you think modern medicine were the first to figure that out hrrmmm just realise that that's not true. I find that very interesting.

The strongest themes of NDE"s can be found in shamanism though, it is speculated by Dr. Rick Strassman that DMT a chemical contained in many shamanic plants from around the world is the chemical released in your brain when you dream and die. A new term has been coined "entheogen" meaning I think, a plant which induces a spiritual experience. Though have experiences with both an NDE and psychedelics I can say that they are different, although taking into account what I said earlier, these plants induce a spiritual experience and may put you on the path. Shamans have been chose through time for having NDE's. This is documented.

I am sure that eventually for Dr. Rick Strassman to prove his DMT death and dreaming theory that he will need to do some practical tests. I wonder who will be the volunteers to die and come back to life????

The soul transcending time.

Magic the soul and how it transcends time.

I will start with one of my earliest memories. I was being baby sat by parents of a friend. I was asleep on the floor in the living room and must have been 4 of 5 maybe younger. I closed my eyes suddenly I started thinking bout a light,a light like the sun (yellow on the edge and white in the middle). I felt as though I had left my body and travelled to it, though I am not sure. Then it was time for me to go home, I didn't live far so I just walked(I guess they thought it was a safe neighbourhood) on the way home I thought it would be nice to synchronize my walking movements with ths sounds of the birds and nature. Now I am not sure what these people got up to before they had their kids, but me and my friend were born in 88 its 2013 now as I am writing this. It was in a place called oakville just outside of Tornoto in Canada. I was told later in life they met on a commune, but I am not sure if this is the truth or not. After that experience they made me lemonade once and I asked if there was acid in it. Do kids my age at then know about that stuff, does some crazy preacher just try and get in as early as he can with the disinformation. I can't tell you. But I did attend church. Perhaps with the hindsight of my experience later in my life with a light like the one I saw and the experience that came with it, perhaps that explains it. In my 20's I had a near death experience whilst sleep deprivation assited by psychedelics. I essentialy had NDE (near death experience) from exhaustion. This technique was used by some native american tribes. In my dream state before I had my NDE, I dreamt about what would happen the next day(since the initial premonition/future dream I have had many more almost like living the day twice). After this dream was finished I woke for a split second to realise that I was dying, then I travelled to the light like the sun. So as I was saying me knowing about this when I was a kid and the dream before the NDe. It would lead me to believe that time is not what it seems. Things like destiny and fate come into question. It's intuition, perhaps of the divine path. The weeks before I had been taking lsd and had been seeing tree's that were humanoid, this is documented as druids experience, read more about druids in my game of thrones entry. Can I do anything wrong, if the next day is predestined, then are all days predestined, is it just for me or for everyone. Should I even be telling you this. Perhaps it's an experience of people truly graced by God, a assurace that you are in the hands of much more powerful and knowing being. When I think like that it's truly amazing, I think about how beautiful the light was and the physical/psychedelic experiences that led to this point. It is a joyful one, it is graced with ecstacy in the light and many plants that simply make you feel good and see amazing things. I wonder how was I put on this divine path, why isn't everyone on this path. Then I think "they are" death is inevitable. But does everyone go to the light. I can't tell you, you can research NDE yourself and you will find this isn't true. All I hope is that you find your way onto the path :)

One of the most vivid premonitions of the next day was almost like living parts of it twice. I was dreaming and I dreamt that I was in my friends yard talking to this specific girl. She was sitting on an esky(ice cooler) and she said to me in the dream "you have beautiful blue eyes". I woke up the next day and sure enough I went to his house( I didn't know she would be there) and she was sitting on an esky....but she didn't tell me about my eyes. Then we travelled to a charity party with trance music, I think the party was to help people who get stuck in aged care when they aren't aged(severely disabled people). When I got to the party I was sitting down for a while and then a girl sitting near me said "you have beautiful blue eyes". Who would have figured I could dream these specific things before they happened. I have many stories like this one. I dreamt once that I was walking down the road and then my head got smashed into the pavement by someone. I awoke the next morning and went to catch up with a friend...low and behold there was a guy with him that I had had a sort of fight with in hospital and he had pushed my head into a brick wall. My initial dream right before the NDE was about me and my mate arguing in a specific place in a hallway in the house and he kicked me out....I had the NDE woke up the next day and low and behold we had that arguement in the specific place in the hallway and he kicked me out.

I think that it is important to note that after the initial dream before the  NDE I didn't notice these dreams, though beofre they started again I had dreams where I visited abusive events in my past. One was me going back to when I was in Canada where I was choked by a friends step dad. The other dream was where I went back to grade school where one of my teachers had raped students and eventually was caught and jailed(only for 9 months) but I will save that story.

I am not going to do things in linear chronilogical order, because that's not the truth in my experience. I visited a psychic called Deb Webber from the show Sensing murder. The show tests psychics and picks the ones who can give names and details of a murder. I went to her show, but the night before I had a dream. In the dream I was in a classroom with Deb alone, she said to me "you will be the last". I woke up the next day and went to the show and she shared her knowledge. Then at the very end I was the last to be picked, everyone left and we were alone together with her(me and my friend Anita). Deb channeled my Dad and gave accurate info about him. She said that he wanted me to excercise more because he just sees me laying around on the couch. Now much later I still hadn't excercised. Then in a dream my Dad was standing there smiling at me. I realised this when the next day I was listening to a Joe Rogan podcast and it motivated to excercise, then it clicked why my dad was in my dreams the night before.

I think that my life has a purpose, I am here to do good and learn from the bad. I have been faced with tremendous evil and stood up to it. Which is the reason why I was abused by that teacher I was telling you about. I saw what he was doing and I confronted him and told him to fuck himself. After this had happened I started going into an ecstatic state, I was prediciting my future and things to do with "the light" I had been thinking about "the light" while confronting this teacher because he almost killed me. I guess no body like the prinicipal or the other teachers I told didn't do anything because they could just dismiss me as a problem child....well fuck them...they should be locked up for accomodating the bastard. But yes I was one of the students that spoke out against him and was labelled a liar and medicated. Not much has changed as I have grown up, but I think that I am here to share my story. In reality I know and have experienced things that are inconcievable to most people that aren't educated in spirituality and shamanism. But yes my specific experience has been historically documented, experienced by shamans all over the world. A lot of shamans were picked by the tribe for the fact that they had a NDE, and there were ways of inducing them. Such as psychedelic assited sleep deprivation. The longer you stay awake the closer you get to death and the more the spirit world comes into reality. .have experienced things they can't even concieve to be real, or they are trying to cover up the truth in all its aspects. I have no time for people that explain away things a hallucinations. When you get to the roots of the Sundance ritual of the native Americans, it was a way of inducing a NDE through exhaustion. Though the ritual was banned by the government, supposedly because sometimes self mutilation took place. From a documentary I can't find anymore, it was explained that the shaman would cut himself and then dance for 3 days straight no sleep to experience visions of the future. I think it was on histroy channel but it was before youtube and I haven't been able to find it yet. Another documented case of a near death experience giving a person visions of the future was the case of Dannion Brinkley, who has a movie about his story called "saved by the light". He was struck by ligthing and was dead for 21 minutes before coming back to life in hospital. He went throught "the light" and met beings in a crystal palace that told him that "we are infinite spiritual beings and....love is the difference" :)

Entheogenic/spiritual experiences in movies and T.V

Ok I hope people enjoyed my last entry on games, I will continue to update when I notice more things. Now it's on to two other mediums of communication, television and movies. First off I really hope for people that haven't experience what I have that I am letting you in on something amazing, I am sure there are a lot of people out there that realise that the concepts I am going to highlight in these shows and movies are actually psychedelic in nature and originally came from someones visions on entheogens or the spiritual path initiated by them.

Ok I am going start with a movie called Flatliners, it's a movie with Keifer Sutherland. The movie is about a group of med students that decide to controllably kill themselves and see what is on the other side of life. I think that is an amazing concept and I am sure was inspired by real events, however these med students are definitely not the first people to engage in activities like this. Much of this information has been suppressed and the rituals I am going to talk about were made illegal by the American government. It is interesting in the movie that they either face up to the wrong doings of their past or make peace with a deceased loved one. I was told when I met Deb Webber(a renowned spirit medium in Australia from the show Sensing murder) that this is exactly the case, if you murder someone before you can pass on to heaven or a more peaceful higher realm you must be forgiven by the person that you killed. This concept is the main theme in the movie. As I was saying this is not ground breaking stuff, the Native American people would have a ritual called the "Sundance" in which the whole community would pretty much have a party that went for 4 days to a week. There was a special role played by the shaman of the tribe, the shaman would dance for 3 to 4 days straight sometime mutilating himself until he dropped dead and then came back to life. This was to gain visions of the future in times of war to see how to engage, this part of the ritual is being suppressed right now by the American government and banned. You will find Sundance rituals being held today but they don't include this aspect.

Now this is my personal experience and I can testify to the fact that if you stay awake to the point of exhaustion your heart will stop for a period and hopefully start again, I'd say you have to be doing some serious soul searching and be dedicated to even contemplating putting your life on the line to gain spiritual knowledge in such an extreme way, there are also reports that similar events occurred in South America where they would use morning glory seeds(containing lsa/lsd) to help them stay awake for long enough. I do not endorse anyone engaging in this type of thing, people have been known to die and not come back even after 24 hours of sleep deprivation.

If you have seen Game of Thrones, you will find heavy psychedelic concepts in the show, especially with Bran Stark, he is pushed off a high tower and has a near death experience (dies and comes back to life) after this occurs he is able to have visions of the future, it is also worthy to note that the Gods which are worshipped by his family are humanoid trees(trees with faces). This is a phenomenon seen on different types of psychedelics and one I have experienced myself. It is also documented in the true story of Dannion Brinkley that was struck by lightning and was dead for 20mins then revived at hospital that he had the ability to see the future. You can watch his true story movie, it's called "Saved by the light".

Now there is a show called Medium it is about a spirit medium that works with police to help solve cases, it is a work of fiction based on a real medium. There is also a doctor featured in the show that uses defibrillation to die and be revived and acquires the same abilities as the main character the medium. In my personal opinion this is the cutting edge of science and enchanting the world again, it doesn't surprise me that the American government has suppressed the aspects of the Sundance.

Hope you enjoyed :)

Nintendo and psychedelics.

Psychedelics in popular culture. There are many concepts within popular culture, music, games, T.V shows and movies. I couldn't really find anything in relation to this on the web so I thought I would share what I have observed in my life. Much of the time I had no idea that these were psychedelic concepts until I grew up and took psychedelics/entheogens, as well as having other spiritual experiences.

I am going to start with what I saw growing up in all different types of media, I guess the first would be Mario or super Mario as well as other concepts used by Nintendo. Now by no means is this a complete catalogue of psychedelics in popular culture, just what I have observed and then relating them to my own experiences with entheogens/psychedelics(what I have seen personally). Mario loves his mushrooms, there are mushrooms in the game mario for nintendo. They have magical properties and cause mario to grow in size essentially giving you an extra life, if you are hit then you shrink down again. The mushrooms featured in the Mario games are red with white spots, this is the colours of the Amanita mushrooms which are renowned more for their ability to make you feel energetically charged and high. It was speculated by Professor Samuel Odman in the 19th century that Viking warriors use these mushrooms to gain an advantage over their opponents in combat, by going into a rage and having super human strength and speed.

The second concept that has a psychedelic origin is the concept of a humanoid tree( The Deku tree in Zelda). You will find the druids of the anglo countries have been drawing these for quite some time. In my personal experience I have seen trees turn humanoid on blotter paper what was claimed LSD in reality it was probably LSA mixed with some secondary alkaloids(which I believe are ignored for their properties). People also report on psychedelics like ayahuasca or smokeable dmt that nature can grow in fast forward or envelope them with vines covering their body. Perhaps these humanoid trees you see are people that have passed on to be incarnated or integrated into nature. In my personal experience I have seen vines growing out of persons body when I smoked dmt. Fairies are also popular in psychedelic culture and are a heavy them in Zelda, which all relate to Anglo lore. Druids were the spiritual guides of their communities, settling disputes whilst also being knowledgeable in medicinal plants, as well as psychedelics for spiritual medicine. They also had sacred groves/forests. Much like Links hometown in Zelda.

It is also worthy to note this in relation to deru compared to deku.
"Based on all available forms, the hypothetical proto-Celtic word may then be reconstructed as *dru-wid-s (pl. *druwides) meaning "oak-knower". The two elements go back to the Proto-Indo-European roots *deru-[15] and *weid- "to see".[16] The sense of "oak-knower" (or "oak-seer") is supported by Pliny the Elder,[1"

"In the Welsh legend, divination was known as awenyddion or awenithion, which was a power of poetic insight. The insight or divination come from sleeping and dream, where the sleeping person would speak during a rapt ecstasy."
Well I can tell you that this is real, as I have experienced it myself. I would say that most of the stuff people hear about these kinds of things is utter bs, a lot of propaganda was disseminated by the Romans when they invaded Britain. In an attempt to stamp out the Druids. I guess they just didn't understand the infinite soul, so they would have just came back.

I have personally experienced all of these phenomenon myself^, which I guess is why I am drawing attention to these stories in the game having their roots (no pun intended :) in real life.

Druidic face.
